Patton’s Lodge was envisioned and built by Tim Patton during several years of the 1990’s. His dream of a “bank barn” soon became a popular outdoor wedding venue, and host to many graduation parties, reunions, and quinceaƱeras, as well as home to DigiStitch Embroidery.
The building itself has rough hewn poplar board and batten siding, with a notable twelve foot working water wheel on the west side. The inside is graced with huge 8′ x 8′ oak beams and yellow pine tongue and groove wainscoting which was reclaimed from a Kentucky tobacco barn. Some of the exterior porch posts were once pegged mortise and tenon beams, also reclaimed from the same barn.
Patton’s Lodge is owned and operated by Tim and his wife, Pat.
